Global chip manufacturer, Micron has pledged billions dollars to Central NY for the planned development of the largest chip production facility in the United States. Coming to Clay and providing up to 50,000 jobs in the region over the next 20 years. Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said several factors played into the global giant's choice of Central New York.
